Meadow Hide is a beautiful cottage, designed to be accessible for disabled guests and to be a true luxury hideaway. You'll awaken to the sounds of birdsong, and spend time stargazing each evening. Inside there is a log burner, comfy sofa and a picture window through which you can see the sun setting over the wildlife meadow. Barn Owls hunt there, deer forage, and there's lots of other wildlife to see too. It's a great spot for those who love nature and for photographers. Meadow Hide sleeps four in two double bedrooms. It's a accessible and dog friendly holiday cottage. Up to two dogs are welcome to join you on your holiday, the first dog is free and a second is £25 for the stay.

Accessible Holiday Cottage Features
Meadow Hide is a fully accessible holiday cottage. It is completely on the ground floor, with two double bedrooms, and a luxurious wet room suitable for disabled guests. The internal doors measure at least 670mm in width and the entrance gate is 910mm wide. Parking for up to two cars is available close by the gates. All access is level throughout the property, including into the decked garden.
The key safe is next to the entrance door and can be reached from a wheelchair. It has large clear white numbers and easy press buttons. Outside the entrance gate is illuminated and there are illuminated marker lights if you require them. The hot tub is inset into the deck with views over the meadow and next to outdoor seating and a BBQ. If needed there is an outside plug socket which can be used to charge mobility scooters or chairs.
Our friendly staff are on site 24 hours a day, and will be there to greet you when you arrive. Accessible Days Out Near Chichester
Locally there are lots of great days out, you can enjoy the South Downs, the cathedral city of Chichester, the quaint village of Bosham and much more. There's a very detailed wheelchair user guide to Chichester here. Head to West Wittering Beach and borrow one of their Sandcruiser beach wheelchairs to enjoy the golden sand and lapping waves. They have four adult and one child Sandcruisers so book ahead to ensure once is reserved for you. There's also disabled parking, and accessible toilets accessed by RADAR key.
Take a trip around Chichester harbour on the solar powered Solar Heritage catamaran. It has a lift for wheelchair users to access the boat and a flat deck which is easy to move around. You'll travel through the quiet harbour, spotting wildlife and enjoying the beautiful views over the sea and back over the South Downs.
Arundel Castle is a fascinating place and very accommodating for disabled guests. They have buggies to ferry guests up the steep slope outside of the castle, wheelchairs that can be borrowed inside and very helpful staff to assist guests in seeing as much of the site as possible.
